She was best known for her role as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. The role that she played earned her the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female Actor. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Also, she is known for her leading roles in the 80s film series Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's.
